Yes that is true. The M3/M4 IMO out grown themselves. They are becoming slightly more grand tourer than what the M3 of the past once was.

Haha...the "too good for their own good" statement is one of the more um....interesting statements that I've seen on this forum regarding the M3. So to use it to justify your argument is worrisome.
