Depends where you live. Here in my city I've seen less than 10 real M cars, most of which are M2s and M4s. The M-Sport packages don't seem to be overly abundant either.

I'm not thrilled about BMW plastering the M logo on non-M cars, but side-by-side you can tell the difference based on styling aggressiveness alone.
