I used RS29 on the M3 since I got it. Switch to them in April/May for first track event, then switch back to stock in November after the last VIR event.

They work better on the street if you brake hard, which sometimes is hard to do I know. But if they are bedded in properly they squeal less and grip more. Takes a few weeks or a month to fully clean the disc, by which time I’m back on track and they again deposit material on the disc.

For reference, I run (Edit: I wish I would run 2:08, that was a typo) 2:10 at VIR and 2:12 at Watkins Glen, respectable times. Fronts last about 2 weekends, rears about double that.

But I think I’m ready for something different this season. I’ll try first PFC08 and then Endless ME20.
