A friend of a friend has totaled three cars at MSR and received payout on each. I do think they told him the last one was the final one they'd cover at that location.

And, IIRC, you have to be participating in a specific type of event there on which street-legal vehicles are the
only vehicles on the track. Learned that from a buddy of mine who used to instruct for PCA there (and has had me on the track twice since). Also IIRC, that rule does not apply to bikes -- at least it didn't when I did a few track days there back in the early 2000s.
MSR only allows passing in three or four places on each of the two circuits; I'm sure that's part of the reason it can do that ... but the biggest reason is that it's privately owned and operated somewhat similarly to a country club: Memberships primarily fund it, and guests can only use it if invited by a member or if the guest attends as part of an event held at MSR.
