I repeat.

This is a sports car.

Absolutely you should expect it to consume more of the following than your average commuter vehicle.

1- fuel
2- tires- especially rear tires!!
3- oil
4- brake pads
5 - brake rotors
6- yes! tires again! Don't expect much more than 20k for a set of tires
Let's ignore the obvious and ask the same question a different way.
If the M2 is driven the same as an M235i, will it need brakes, tires and oil replaced more often?
You keep asking and I'll keep saying it the same way.

Are the tires on the M235i summer only tires or are they all season ?? Even if they have the same tires the M2 will brake harder, accelerate harder, turn sharper and all these will wear faster on an M2. Most importantly, there is another 60-90 ft lbs of torque that will be going to the rear tires every time you accelerate.
Don't expect to get more than 20k miles out of your rear tires, PERIOD.

Are the brake pads on an M2 a more aggressive compound? Do you think that an M2 stops more quickly from 60-0 than an M235i? I would bet so! Will the brake pads last as long ? Not if an M2 is faster than an M235i!

Are the brake rotors more expensive on an M2 than an M235i ? If there is a more aggressive pad , will the rotors wear a little more quickly ?
Yes they will !

If you weren't aware of any of this , I think you are officially ready for an M235i.
