Hi, they are replacements of the OEM corner braces. Even though they are in aluminum, we have made them thick and robust. There are many companies that make the braces in different materials, and people are always going to argue that steel is more rigid.
Also take a look at how thin the OEM corner braces are, they are pretty much stamped metal sheet, so under this circumstance, I am pretty confident to say that ours will be stronger than the OEM ones.
