I was looking at from the prospective of keeping it off the toes of the M4. I think the tranny probably has Drivelogic just not the drivers ability to adjust the modes.
Sort of like paying 350USD for enhanced Bluetooth when you can code it for free( F8X). Won't have the extra mic, but it works the same.
I bet you can code to have the modes, just would need to button/center console.
