Im going to answer my own question about pricing
Starts at $54k with option to add CF roof, unlike the M3 standard with nav and cf roof...the M2 will come with nothing (other than the usual M bits). So basically a modded m235i.
Bmw is trying to gain entry level buyers but also have enough goodies for those diehard M fans. A lightly optioned M2 with nav and cf roof will run around $59k...add some blings like carbon brakes and we're in M3 territory
