Don't know what you saw on there in December, but that link
now shows the 5% ED discount for the 2018 M2 base price, a savings of $2675.
Regardless of what that page may have said in the past, every time I checked the PDF* of ED prices in the past two years, I always saw the M2 on there as having an ED discount. I didn't have any trouble getting it, though I am aware not all dealers have been honoring it - I simply asked the CA if they would honor the 5% ED discount for the M2 and he said "sure". If he hadn't, I'd have kept looking.
