Once upon a time I traded in my 2008 E92 M3 SSII for a 2012 GT500. Being a car enthusiast unmarried to any particular brand or scene, I was determined to experience something very different.
Owning this car through the summer was a blast - it made a great car to take on road trips into the countryside...and it was beautiful. Here it is at an estate winery out in George, WA.
But then the wet, cold Seattle weather came in and the GT500 became a handful. It makes a terrible daily, and I learned that the hard way.
Less than 4 months later, I was missing my M3 so much that I was willing to take on 2 car payments while I wait to find a new owner for the GT500. As the Shelby sits in my garage, I'm now enjoying my 2nd M3 that I am determined to keep for a very long time.
