I thought you meant cars and not engines. In that case I do agree the 5 and 6 are equivalent. Best 4 out there right now, IMO, is the one on the CLA/GLA45's, that thing screams.
As for the exhaust debate, whatever floats your boat. I just think that, if you're going to be putting massive oval pipes on the car, at least connect them to the damn pipe.
