Not really.
The N55 sounds better. This is it. Everything else goes to the S55: response/lag, power in stock form, cooling, aftermarket.
I think anyone who says different is in denial. Wait until you see the difference it will make in the M2... |
Nonsense. Having driven both back to back there is certainly less lag in the N55. Not sure if this is M3 owner insecurity but I fail to see how you could miss this on a test drive.
I'd say the sentiment is pretty accurate. N55 absolutely out of breath in high rpm. S55 pulls almost like NA at the top.
