That's way too much. I can do it in my driveway in 40 minutes. I don't have a lift so I jack up 1/2 of each side of the car using a floor jack and I do the front and rear on one side then I do the same on the other side. Another option for DYI is to use the front center and rear center jack points. That way you can do both fronts and then both rears each at the same time. Either way always use jack stands for safety. I would think that a shop would charge one hour of shop time to do job, but I bet they can actually do the work in 20-30 minutes since they have a lift plus they do pads on our cars every day.
