A typical policy will pay you "replacement cost" which includes depreciation. My brother had his brand new truck stolen after owning it less than a month. He did not even get what he paid for it because of the hit you take when you drive it off the lot. My guess is with a M2, regardless of what you paid for it, they would pay you MSRP less some small depreciation. Only a guess. And if you are willing to pay for, I'm sure you can get other levels of coverage.
