The car in the video (OP) is actually an M235i racing. Look at the bodywork vs M2...
AFAIK in VLN racing 2017 there is the Schirmer M2 which has the M2 bodyshell but underneath it's all M235i Racing, including 8AT gearbox.

Looking at this one and the square fuel door this is also F22 based(F87 has a round fuel door)
