It's less risky to rev this motor out old than it was with the super high piston speed S54 with 10w60 it it. That feature was also on other S motors like S62 and S85 s65. High strung NA motors.

Generally it's a best practice to wait for your oil temp to come up in all performance cars. But some will suffer more than others.
Except there isn't an oil temp display on the car.

As a point of reference it does seem like the OK temp corresponds to an oil temp of 60C when I was monitoring the water and oil temp using the M Performance steering wherl
