Plus having to wait for aftermarket mods to get made, become available, and be real-world tested by consumers. All this stuff was done already when I ordered my N55 M2 last month. Also twin turbos are twice as expensive to upgrade than a single turbo. $2121 for Dinan M4 intake, for example, compared to $635 for the M2.
With the M2 there are no kinks to work out. The engine is from a M235i which has been around for a long time, the trans and diff are from the M3/M4.

Same goes with the M2 comp. The s55 has been out since 2014. All major kinks have been already worked out.

With twin turbo there is really no need to upgrade the turbos. Just a stage one tune for an s55 is all you need, especially in a small car like the M2 IMO.
