Coming BMW 1 will be on front-driven platform with same layout as TT RS and AMG A45. This means no inline 6 Zylinder, at least 60% weight on front axle and natural understeer (if not faked/ corrected via power distributen as for example in a Ford Focus RS). Based on current information, future BMW 2 (as of late 2020) is also likely to come with front-driven platform. This would be the end of all small traditional rear-driven BMWs. I hope it will not happen.. .
