The trick I use is one that I learned from a high end detailer on youtube actually. As soon as you are done washing your car and its still wet, just before you dry it off go for a short drive 1/4 or so with your foot on the brakes while driving to get the rotors warm. In the past I would clean my car spotless and then move it a few feet and the rust would come off the rotors and coat my clean wheels with rust dust. Now that is not an issue at all. Simple to do, just have to be quick about it.
