Does anyone else have this problem?

when I reply a text and I hit the microphone button on the iPhone screen, it takes 5 seconds for iDrive to pickup and often times i do not know when it is ready. So it ends up missing half my sentence or picks up a lot of gibberish in the beginning. very annoying.

Does anyone know how to mitigate the issue? or disable the Bluetooth when using text to speech or Siri. but still connect phone and music?
