Not running an M2, but saw this tire thread. Running M235i with tuner boost up to 275 Hp at the crank and significant increased torque. Had same issue as rich8566 with MPSS- got greasy at temperature and even though wear was even across face, the walls were soft and you get flaking and chunking of rubber down to the steel belts on the outside edges—would not recommend them for track. Right now running Hancook RS4's (235/R40/18 F, 255/R35/18 R) and they are very nice. Heat up well, maintain lots of grip, even wear, will last longer than RE71's. Paired with 19 lb 18" rims, shaved 3-5 seconds off lap time on track where 1:20 is an excellent time.
