On this car, when you consider the brake pads/rotors alone, it is a good reason to shoot for a 2016 rather than a 2017.
Sure, the 2017 will theoretically be LCI, but that won't likely be anything drastic anyway. The change in maintenance is a real consideration factor moving to 2017 models and beyond.
