Yeah: it's not the spokes (with which spacers would help), it's the barrel.
ARC-8's barely fit over the 370mm rotors of the F30 M Performance brakes (which use the same calipers as the M2/M3/M4). The 380mm rotors of the M2/M3/M4 make the ARC-8s a no-go.
