do you find that you can hear the engine better when downshifting? i have the asd bypass harness on order and i'm hoping that w/ dct i will be able to hear the engine more. |
Yes, car is quieter in cabin without ASD, but that means you can hear more of the engine/exhaust sounds - pops and burbles, especially on downshifts and over-run are much more audible. Another benefit is there's zero noise difference in the cabin when moving between comfort and Sport+ modes.
Takes a bit of getting used to but I'm def sticking with it - prefer the "au naturel" sounds.
