I heard both and there was a bit of difference in favor of 1M, certainly nothing "sooooooo" much different.

not dreaming...the 1M is my next car but I do wish it sounded more like the 135is.
I don't think you've heard both then....there is a guy on here who owns both and says the same thing. the 135is has a very distinctive and wonderful sound...
