I am actually very interested in this from a functional aero standpoint. I would love to be able to relieve the pressure buildup in the wheel. The reflectors are in the absolute perfect location for this, and I don't mind cutting out the black plastic backing to make a hole. But the tricky thing will be figuring out some way to make a "tunnel" from the hole to a matching hole I cut in the fender liner. I want to have a tunnel so the air is drawn straight from the high pressure in the wheel well out to the low pressure area in back of the car.
Without a tunnel or a tube that is sealed, the air from the wheel well will be pulled into the general open interior bumper area (behind the fender liner) and will add drag like a parachute.
