And I'm really happy it worked out the way it did and there is one main reason for that - torque. I had a 2008 M5 (the same engine as the M3 plus two cylinders) and it always felt so gutless at low RPMs. The M3 has even less torque than my M5 did (100 ft/lb?) and I think that with my commute/drive (stop and go) it would have driven me nuts. So... if you have the opportunity to open that beast up on some country roads, then go for it - but if your life is in traffic day in and day out, I don't think you will love the car. Just my 2 cents!
