i received and installed mine (slat style) yesterday. took about 40 min. in my opinion the car should come with that equipped rather than the reflector. i think the m2 looks more "oem" with them on.
the installation process is fairly straightforward. you kind of have to pry the upper part of the bumper cover out to get access to the back of the reflectors. pushing the bumper cover back in place can be a pain. i had to cut out a small piece of the bumper cover (tab, you'll understand when you see it, and sorry no pictures) to make it align properly.
another tip. to get the reflectors to pop out, start from the one on top, i used avvise grip to keep the pressure on the tab (three on the back of each reflector) and wiggle it a bit, then moved on the the middle one. in the meantime, i used my finger to pry the reflector from the outside to get it come lose.
