Hi there, gang. I hope everyone's well.

I wanted to check in and see what the forum's thoughts were on this. I know that break in is a rather controversial topic but wanted to take the temperature anyway.

Long story short, doing my best to keep the M2 under 4k revs for the first 1200 mi. CA noted if I go on long drives to vary the RPMs at highway speed.

That said, I've got a trip planned for the last week in July down to DC. Really don't feel like taking my VW down there as the AWE Tuning exhaust drones and I am pretty sure my g/f will want to slit my throat after three hours.

So, would you/wouldn't you put on ~500 miles at highway speed BEFORE the 1200 mi service?
