One of the other items you may think about trying is a thin aluminum skid plate, I had one on my GT4 Mode Carbon lip and it saved me many times. In fact i won't put another carbon lip from anyone on my cars moving forwards without having that type of protection again. MRF designed the "skid plate" but i'd love to have someone like Vorsteiner make their own to offer up for an additional cost.
