I can't speak for others, but I turned it down because I am at the top of the list for the CS. Which based on the info we've been given, will be a significant improvement from the base M2. I am still hoping the price comes in <$70K and if it is say $68-70K then I would feel quite foolish spending $62K for the "performance edition".
Exactly!! I am too.

I'm getting the feeling that $70k isn't going to be realistic. That's what I was hoping for too, but I think based on where the M4CS came in, I don't think it looks good.

I don't know what I feel I'm willing to spend on the car however (not taking into consideration any dealer markup).
