That actually doesn't surprise me. I've ridden in, but not driven a 991, and it's SUCH a different animal than any 911 before it......it's far more of a GT than the 997.1 or .2, so I'm not all that taken aback to hear someone say it's actually a more compliant car than the M2.

But compared to the 997 911, the M2 feels much 'softer'......... besides the suspension differences, some of that is also due to the somewhat muted feedback c/o electronic steering. The 997.2 is the last hydraulic steering 911 Porsche made.
