Now there seems to be 'Active Protection' seatbelts and non 'Active Protection' seatbelts. Therefore I believe 72118058479 and 72118058480 may be the parts required but it is hard to decipher if these are 'Active Protection' or not.

Hmmm, could be some life in this, I've followed your RealOEM advice and it would appear the belts minus the active protection are available for the M4/3 competition pack cars - which look like the smaller housing needed for the M2.
Just fired off a re-request to my parts guy and will see what he comes back with.
