I run RE-71Rs - 255/35 and 285/35. Pretty good setup for the track, no issues. 265/35s are too tall of a tire for the front, they scrape very bad under heavy compression.
If my M2 were more of the street car I would run 255/35 and 275/35 for a little better water / hydroplane resistance.
