Just make sure you get a manual transmission. The auto seems to be having problems including overheating. You also want to make sure you don't use the 4 cylinder highway deactivation thing because it was rumored to be causing thrust bearing failure.
There have been lots of reports of bad paint / panel quality and a seemingly high number of engine failures even on the base C7. Not as bad as the Z06 though.
