Depends on what you mean by good and what your mods are.
This intercooler is meant for cars lightly modded (stage 1 tune), anything above that and it will suffer.
Pro of bar and plate: does a better job at keeping IAT low
Cons: heavy , does not recover as fast as tube and fin
If you track the car often, tube and fin is the way to go
If this is a street use car, bar and plate is better choice since it costs less
