Upgrade is super straight forward.

1. Acquire M2 comp seat
2. Unplug battery
3. Take out old OG M2 seats
4. swap bottom modules between the seats
5. Swap seat belt retention onto new seats
6. Install new seats
7. Re-connect battery
8. Start car as normal and it should all work (no errors in my case for any airbags/seat belts)

Since the seat functions and airbags are triggered through the seat module (which are functionally the same, just different coding for specific models I believe), all you need to do swap them over and the car shouldn't recognize a difference.

The battery disconnect is specific to the seat belt since that throws an error when disconnected I believe.
