And my question of, "will they last 5x as long?" I'm guessing not, and based on my reasearch it seems a separate set of OEM rotors is the way to go until a BBK is installed.

No way they last that long. At least not $3k longer. Your guess is correct on BBK or OEM. $4k gets you front Brembo BBK
