My F25 LCI X3 20d (B4720D) had stupid condition-based service, engine oil + filter replaced every 2 years (I did an extra oil service out of my own pocket), now that it's been sold I don't really care.

For the M2, I will replace oil (8 bottles of M TwinPower Turbo 0w-40 + filter) at least once every 12 months, I'll do extra if I drive hard or go to track days.

BTW: I take the F87 M2 to my trusted mechanic friend's workshop only, no plan to go back to any dealership. I can pay an extra A$100 to write every service record back to the car computer (somehow you can remotely login to BMW servers with others' account to write the records). Not just because I don't trust the dealership services, but also about get to know more about the car (I watch my friend servicing the car, sometimes help him do it just because I am interested in doing so). I think it's better care than what I can get from the dealer.
