Only problem with that theory is they would be priced out of range for most to afford. This gives those of us without $1M to spend on a vehicle an opportunity to own an exclusive car. They sold the i8 as a non-limited car (honestly that could ALMOST have been a limited run trophy car) and it's been bought up well-enough but it isn't quite as special as it could have been if only 500 were ever made.

If I manufactured cars I'd limit everything. I'd even limit the packages and options. People would buy the crap out of my cars.
