Lowering springs may be okay for the street, but may hurt you on the track.

You are right on as to the E9x chassis responded well to Swift Spec-R springs, but the F8x chassis didn't get the same results. May have a lot to do with how the struts and shocks are valved between the two chassis.
Thanks guys! I think the shock valving alone even with stock springs could be greatly improved. Those rear mounts are tricky
