Rodger that. Always had 2 wheel drive cars growing up. Was worried about all the naysayers on rwd. Got my 135, put snows on, just took it to killington in middle of Sunday storm. 4-5 inches of snow on access road to ski resort climbed right up. A correctly balanced vehicle, technique and tires and all is fine.
I agree in some respect as I have an M3 manual and on my Nokians I get around NE winters with no issues. But the big issue for me is the 90% of the time that there isn't snow, I'm on lower performing winter tires. When I had my 335 xdrive, I slapped on DWS Contis and I was able to keep a lot of performance during the winter. I imagine the same for the Audi.
