This is the preferred track fitment as it allows for rotation of tires, extending their life and more balanced handling at the limit.

The 18x10.5 ET40 rear can work with the 295/30-18 but it is not ideal. You are losing -1.335 inches in overall diameter in the rear over the stock 19x10 ET40 OEM M2 wheel with the 265/35-19. This is a -5.3% change, which is not ideal.

Tire selections are more ideal in this 295/30-18 but keep in mind that the lower overall diameter can cause issues with your speedometer accuracy and your traction control effectiveness.

What do you think of running the 18x10.5 ET40 FL-5 or one of your 18x11 ET44 wheels in the back with a 315/30/18 R888R?

EDIT: I did some measuring this weekend and I think even if I find the wheel width and ET to tuck a 315/30/18 in as far as possible, it’ll stick out too far passed the fender.
