It would of looked better for him if he turned himself in. His dumbass friend brought this on them both. Driving that recklessly in a high traffic / pedestrian area is super dangerous. He disobeyed a lawful order and fled with no regard for the officers safety or others. If you ask me sit his @ss in jail for awhile, seize the car and revoke his license. Driving is a privilege not a right.
