I just saw in a German BMW dealer webshop that the M2 MPE will be available again from 19. of May onwards, maybe this is due to the version change.

Do you have a link for that?
Car should be due first weeks of May... so either I get the old version or I'll have to wait another month... In hindsight could have just waited for the LCI if the latter is the case
