Haha I didn't choose DCT sounds. They're all sounds from the manual transmission car. It's how the sounds are arranged, mixed and panned. gaps in the sounds made the whole thing feel slow. I used artistic license to make the whole thing feel faster. Also, I believe what you might be referring to is actually a change in the perspective of the sound. The car isn't shifting at each cut...
