There are negatives to PPF and some people just don't like it.
That said, I have the XPEL Ultimate PPF kit on my front bumper, because I think the positives outweigh the negatives for that piece.
But I can't stand seeing a PPF seam, like when owners just cover the leading edge of the hood. And the factory PPF in front of the rear wheels looks awful, IMO. The day I brought the car home from the dealer, the first thing my wife said was "what's that line on the side of the car?"
This was from 10 feet away. My factory PPF is also noticeably yellow after only 9 months.
For the OP's question - TracWrap! I bought a roll from Amazon prior to picking up the car. It took me about 15 minutes at the dealership to apply it to the front bumper, and that gave me peace of mind for the 120 mile highway trip home.
