Absolutely solid cars. Had no issues whatsoever with mine. And it managed multiple sub 8 minute 'Ring laps while changing oil once every 2 years or 25,000km per BMW Germany recommendations.
It is under-cooled for serious track work if you're into that sort of thing. Air to air intercooler can not keep up with the heat of the motor, and AITs go up, leading to timing being pulled. Nothing serious, but after some hot laps the engine starts pulling power.
That's the only issue I can think of.
