originally had a Vent style mount for my Note 8 (heavy) that looked cool and it wouldnt hold onto my vent strong enough:

it its awesomely strong and the pivot stays put. Very secure to my dash and doesnt feel like it will pull off when I remove the phone.
14 bucks.
Im sure there are many chinese copies of this brand.
