That’s your bearings giving up, I had this in a 135i, bmw wouldn’t do anything, I couldn’t put up with it, I replaced the engine with a low mikes one out of a salvage car, took my engine to bits to look at it, the cams had eaten through the machining of the head, and Bmw could see the problem, ever to say they wouldn’t do a thing about it, when I shown them it,
